  1. Is there a cost to join?. No. It's free to join the Adify system, which we use to manage the network.
  2. What is the Revenue Share I get from the Network? Members get 60% of the gross advertising revenue served on their site. So, if you want to receive $60 for a one month ad, set the price at $100 for one month. Adify (the company used to host the ad network) receives 20%, and the Culture Pundits network receives 20%.
  3. Do I have control over the pricing for the ads on my website? Yes, you have 100% control over the minimum price of your Network ads. To accomplish this, you will need to go in and set up a "default" or "house" ad for your website. Your default ad can be another ad engine like Google / Yahoo and you enter into our system the effective CPM that this ad engine is currently earning you. By setting this up you are telling the system, "Serve my default ad provider on my website unless the Network has an ad that earns me more than my default provider does." Once this is set up, you have effectively set a minimum price for your network ads. If you would prefer to use the network default ads see the next question.
  4. How do I run the network's default ads rather than Adify's? Contact us and we will set up the defaults.  In fact, we can set up the correct ad spaces and just send you the code for your templates if you wish.
  5. Does the Network take a revenue share from the default ads I serve through the Network system? No, you keep 100% of the revenue that serves through our system from other ad engines. We will only take our share from incremental revenue that the Network has created for you via our sales representatives or the Network Storefront.
  6. What controls do I have over the ads that show up on my website? You have 100% control over the ads that show up on your website. No ad will appear until you have reviewed and approved it. Note: To make sure it works this way, you should edit your site options for "Media Buy Review" and set everything to "Review."
  7. What Ad Sizes can I use? All Network members should have at least one of these ad sizes installed: 125x125, 728x90, 160x600. We ask that you try to have 728x90 and 125x125 ads if at all possible. Members are free to install any additional sizes that fit their design. The system supports text links and just about any ad size you can dream up.
