Zoe Cohen

Zoë Cohen is based in Philadelphia, and received her MFA from Brooklyn College. She has been a teaching artist at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The University of the Arts, and has exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, and Berlin. Her work investigates methods of indexical drawing by using the products of the body to express the body, and explores the evidence left in our bodies of our parents and ancestors. Zoë’s work extends beyond the studio with public, participatory projects. Her current project, Show Someone How You Feel About Something, will be presented in Philadelphia and Queens in Spring 2008.
