Advertisers FAQ

  1. How much does it cost? Please view our rate card for the latest pricing information and minimum purchase amounts.
  2. How are ads priced? Ads are priced on a CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions) basis. That means if you buy 100,000 impressions, we show your ads 100,000 times across the sites in our network that you have chosen, and you pay for all 100,000 impressions. Your cost has nothing to do with whether the ads are clicked on, only whether they appear on our sites.
  3. How do I pay? We require payment via credit card or PayPal before your ad campaign begins.
  4. What ad sizes are available? We have 728x90 leaderboards, 160x600 skycrapers, and 125x125 buttons.
  5. What ad formats do you support? We accept JPEG, PNG, GIF (including animated with up to 3 repeats), and SWF. The maximum file size is 35K.
  6. Do you charge extra for flash ads? No, but we require that flash or other animated ads repeat their animations no more than three times.
  7. Are there special technical requirements for Flash ads? Please see the Adify Rich Media FAQ for more information.
  8. Do I have to advertise on all sites in the network? No. You can choose from among the sites in the network, or you can run your ad on all sites in the network. We enjoy working with advertisers to plan which sites make the most sense for their campaigns.
  9. How will I know how my ads are performing? For your own tracking, we recommend you provide us with unique URLs for your ads, such as those used by Google Analytics. We also will provide you with a spreadsheet at the end of the ad run. If your ad runs over a long time, or is a particularly large buy, we can provide monthly statistics reports.
  10. Can I have my ads only appear in certain parts of the country or world? Yes, we offer geo-targeting. However, not all internet service providers report the correct geographic locations of the IP addresses that they supply, particularly for people viewing the web from work. We recommend a hybrid approach: 50% of traffic using geo-targeting, and 50% using sites that we can recommend for given regions.
